Wow, You are now in the infamous Hell, and golly, you are in for one helluva
fight!
You start out on a peninsula on lava. But don't go thinking this is gonna be
like doom 3's hell entrance, because these guys are not going to give you a
quiet welcome, although you still have all your weapons, which is good. A couple
seconds after starting, 2 Cacodemons will attack you, followed by 2 Wraiths,
then a Hell-Knight. After that, 3 demonic babies! After that warm welcome, head
on forward through a small opening, heading down a hall, killing some Trites on
the way, coming to a large cavern, which appears to be souls coming out of an
opening and to the sky somewhat like smoke. 3 Forgottens will attack you,
followed by a Vulgar, then 2 Cacodemons, and then a crapload of more Forgottens
again. After all that mess, head on to the opposite end of the cavern, through
an opening. Head down the hall, kill the Imp waiting for you, and take a left
down another hall, killing another Imp. At the end of the corridor, there will
be a nice little teleport, with ammo scattered around it. Head on into it if you
are dumb enough, because you are gonna need the artifact A LOT for this one.
You will find yourself in a cavern, with many pillars scattered about, there is
about to be a Mancubus/Hell-Knight spawnfest here. First, bring out the shotgun
and kill the Imps on either side of you, then bring out the artifact and Just
keep punching away at the multiple Hell-Knights and Mancubus' all over the
place. Bring out the BFG every once in a while, and when in serious situations,
bring out the artifact and fists. There are a few dead humans laying around to
cut you a break, so that is good, once you are done killing all those enemies,
head on through the green teleport.
Wow, that reminded me of the old glory days of the original Doom, how 'bout you?
You will end up in a corridor, head down it, eventually coming to a "T". Kill
the forgotten there, and go right, for you have already been to the left before.
In this place, will be a lava flow, with a couple of small islands with health
and ammo on them, along with a skeleton in the lava that is somehow not being
burned up. Collect some health and ammo on the small islands, and head through
the corridor at the opposite end of the cavern. You will walk just a few steps
before coming to a small opening at the right where two wraiths will spawn. When
they are dead, a Mancubus will spawn at the end of the corridor, don’t even
think about passing him, because this part is like trying to pass through a 3
foot wide hallway with a fat kid in your way, it doesn’t work. So kill the
Mancubus, and continue your way down the corridor. You will come to a set of
Double-Paneled doors, when you open them, there will be a Hell-Knight standing
right in front of you, kill him, and go back through the doors again and take a
left down another corridor. There will be a small cavern, with a Hell-Knight
waiting for you in there, once he is dead, continue through the opposite end of
the room and through the corridor. At the end of this one, two Wraiths will
spawn, take them out and continue forward. Now you will come to a very large
cavern, with you at the edge of the cliff, immediately spawning 3 Cacodemons.
Kill them and head down to the left, coming to a bridge. Go across the bridge to
the other side, you can head to the bottom to your left, but don’t bother if you
have a full soul-count, if you don’t, head down there and collect the guy's soul
down there. Then head back, and to the opposite side of the bridge. Head across
the cliff, and kill the 2 Vulgars that will climb up near you, then go through
the opening, where another 2 Vulgars will be.
Keep moving your way down the corridor, and you will come to a cavern, with
large Teleport at the end, which looks obviously to be the entrance for the
final boss, judging from all the scenery. Explore the area for Health, ammo, and
souls, then enter the teleport! WEEEEE!

MALEDICT (Dr. Betruger)
Health: 8000
Attacks: Inferno-Ball- 40; Flame Wall- 150 per second
Be warned, this is one tough boss fight. You will need a plentiful supply of BFG
ammunition, Chaingun Rounds, and a fully charged artifact. First thing to watch
out for with Maledict is his fire-wall. This attack is somewhat akin to being
hit by a BFG shot. You can dodge it every time, just be careful. Don't die
because you weren't paying attention. Also be mindful of the two bodies on this
floating "island", the lava pit, and the very long fall. Knowing these things
will help you greatly. Betruger has two attack phases, the first going something
like this:
1) Spawn Forgottens
2) Toss Inferno-Balls
3) Flame Wall
This will loop and loop until you do him 2000 damage. Here is what you do. Use
the artifact, then pound Betruger with the Chaingun during the "Spawning Phase".
After your Hell Time runs out, deal with the little Forgottens attacking you. If
you did this right you should only have to do this once. The next phase is both
harder and easier. In other words, you have the potential to take way more
damage, but so does Maledict. During this phase he will:
1) Sit on the Volcano and toss dozens of Inferno-Balls at you
2) Flame wall
As soon as he swoops in to land on the Volcano, use the Artifact and then charge
up your BFG to max. Then let it loose. You can get in 3 fully charged shots (4
if you are lucky) in one go. After approx. 3 blasts, you have won! Enjoy the
ending! It's very... Interesting.
